This privacy policy applies to www.anchorgc.com owned and operated by Anchor General Contractors, INC.  Anchor General Contractors, INC is committed to safeguarding the privacy of all personally identifiable information (“PII”). 

For the purposes of this policy, Anchor General Contractors, INC defines the term “client” as a business with which Anchor General Contractors, INC has an established a relationship and a “customer” as a customer of an Anchor General Contractors, INC client.

INFORMATION Anchor General Contractors, INC COLLECTS

  • Information you provide to us when you request information or research materials, and participate in promotions, contests, or giveaways 

Please note that we do not attempt to collect personally identifiable information from children or persons under the age of eighteen (18) years of age. Any personal information sent to us which appears to be from a child will be deleted. We cannot always determine if a visitor to our website or the sender of an e-mail is a child, but we will exert our best efforts to do so. 

When an existing or prospective client goes to www.anchorgc.com or contacts our Sales team to request information about Anchor General Contractors, INC products and services, he or she must provide contact details including person-specific information (name, title, phone number, and e-mail address) and organization-specific information (name and address). Anchor General Contractors, INC also collects some marketing contact information such as names and email addresses through third parties and uses this information for marketing purposes only. A customer of course has the option to refuse to provide this information, as well as participate in the survey itself. 

VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION 

Individuals may choose not to participate in Anchor General Contractors, INC’s research and are under no obligation to conduct any of our surveys. For online surveys, an opt-out choice is included in communications to individuals where required, and those who exercise it will be added to Anchor General Contractors, INC’s opt-out list for the relevant client within ten (10) business days of unsubscribing. Anchor General Contractors, INC does not send survey invitations to any email address on the applicable opt-out list and also provides opt-out lists on a timely basis to a client or third-party contractors so that they may update their records where required. 

Any individual receiving email from Anchor General Contractors, INC regarding our products and services also has an option to opt-out of all future communications about the products and services and will be updated within ten (10) business days of unsubscribing. Individuals who wish to reverse an earlier unsubscribe option may contact Anchor General Contractors, INC to change their opt-out status at any time. 

CUSTOMER ACCESS 

Clients and customers may contact Anchor General Contractors, INC at any time if they feel there is an error in their personally identifiable information or request deletion of personally identifiable information. Due to the fact that Anchor General Contractors, INC generally receives and retains personally identifiable information as an authorized representative of a client, we will usually refer individual reporting inaccuracies in any personally identifying information to the originating source for correction, typically with the client. 

Subsequent to verifying the identity of a person making a request, Anchor General Contractors, INC will respond to a request for offline access to personally identifiable information within 30 days of receiving the request. 

DATA RETENTION 

We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide the services for a client and is generally stated in any standard client contract and generally not longer than seven (7) years. If you wish to request that we no longer use your information to provide you our services, please feel free to contact us and we will coordinate with our client for which the data was collected. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. 

THIRD-PARTY PARTNERS 

From time to time, Anchor General Contractors, INC may contract with third parties to perform functions necessary for its research operations and, under the terms of those contracts, may transfer data to those third parties.
